I’m pleased to announce that DIY Rocketry is now “live” and open for use. The entire site has been custom designed with the rocketry community in mind. It has been designed to work on virtually any device of any screen resolution. A lot of front-end and back-end programming, graphics design and UI testing has gone into this site, with much more coming in the days ahead. The ‘core’ structure of this site had been completed around December, with final touches being completed in January. The hope was to have a fair amount of content published prior to ‘launch’, but time constraints had intervened. So without further adieu, the site is open for registration.

Please make yourself feel at home. This is YOUR site. You are free to write about topics you are interested in and/or have personal experience to share with the community. Your first published post must be approved (for SPAM reasons), but you’ll have fairly free reign thereafter. You may edit your articles at anytime, making updates as needed or perhaps continuing the documentation of your latest build.

Make suggestions! This site can be whatever you want it to be. If there are features that you feel are “missing”, please let me know. Are there features on other sites that may improve the useability of this site? Might there be an interactive application that, if built, would be helpful for fulfilling some purpose? Whatever it may be, just make a note and sent it over using the Contact form.

Rocketry news… if there is a current rocketry related topic, perhaps something mentioned in the news or an upcoming rocketry event, please post it here! When you go to publish, choose the category “Blog” for it to appear in this front-page section.
